Before switching to veneers or bonding, we always do an aesthetic analysis of the face in order to choose teeth that are suitable in shape and size.

With the help of digital design, we can see the final result even before starting the treatment. The veneers are made of ceramic and have a thickness of only 0.2 – 0.5 mm. This is also the maximum thickness we would need to file off the tooth. In some cases, it is also possible to make veneers without filing. Bonding allows us to change the shape (and to some extent the color) of the teeth by applying a photopolymer to their surface directly in the mouth.

Placement of veneers and bonding is always done after placing a rubber dam.

Gingivitis is a common condition that causes inflammation of the gums.

One of the primary symptoms of gingivitis is bleeding gums. It is essential to consult a dentist if you experience this symptom, as gingivitis can progress and lead to periodontitis – a condition where the inflammation spreads to the bone.

Digital Smile Design

Want a new smile? Can you imagine exactly what it will look like? Will it suit your face?

Thanks to the digital smile design, you can now see and approve the desired result even before starting the treatment.

To get started, several photos will be taken at the doctor’s office. Then special software will be used to create your new smile, taking into account the individual characteristics of your face.

This will result in a 2D project of your smile which can be adjusted to your wishes. When we achieve the expected result, our dental technicians can convert the design from 2D to 3D.

The 3D project can be transferred into the mouth as a temporary sample. This is the best way to determine whether the new shape and size of the teeth (if they change) are suitable, both from an aesthetic and functional point of view. If necessary, additional corrections can be made at this stage.

The final result of this project can be “copied” using permanent restorative materials such as photopolymer, ceramic, and zirconium.

Teeth whitening is a completely harmless cosmetic procedure that can help you not only get a whiter and brighter smile, but and get rid of some staining and stains on the teeth. For whitening, we use a whitening gel containing an active ingredient hydrogen or carbamide peroxide. The whitening effect is achieved as active, free radicals from the gel enter the surface layer of enamel, “catch” the pigment and bring it out. The home whitening kit you will receive contains high quality whitening gel, splint storage case and your individual splints. In them, you will apply the whitening gel, which is of lower concentration, repeating this procedure every day in within two weeks, for about 1 hour daily.

Achieving the desired result is usually observed after approx ten days. When achieving the desired result earlier than expected, you can interrupt the whitening course and keep the remaining gel, to use after time for re-whitening.

Your custom whitening trays are reusable! After completing the home whitening course, keep them like this you can use them again whenever you want.

How long will the whitening result last?

How long the whitening will last is strictly individual and depends on following a diet without coloring foods and drinks. That and termination of smoking are mandatory conditions for a long-lasting result in the weather.

Can bleaching damage the enamel on my teeth?

When whitening is performed under the supervision of a dentist and professional means, there is no danger of damaging your teeth.

Avoid foods and juices with a high lemon content or phosphoric acid, sour foods and sodas.
Do not use tobacco products during whitening
Sensitivity from temperature irritations may occur (mostly from cold) and sometimes feel discomfort – that’s it normal and subsides within a few days or a week. If sensitivity lasts longer or is greater, we recommend using a remineralizing gel that will reduce tooth sensitivity.
During whitening, do not use mouthwash containing chlorhexidine, as it may reduce the bleaching effect.

In our practice, we have been applying GBT since 2018, and the definition “dental spa” comes from the patients, who often compare the procedure to a wellness experience.

The GBT protocol was created in Switzerland, and its correct application, to which we always adhere, ensures for the patient Swiss quality of the procedure, no matter where in the world he is.

Good plaque control allows us to keep gums healthy. Regular visits for cleaning turn the procedures into prophylactic, not curative – we don’t fight a disease, we don’t allow its development (progression).

What are the main differences between GBT and conventional cleaning methods?

We always color the poster In most cases, plaque on the teeth is difficult to notice or even completely invisible to the naked eye. There’s no way to effectively fix something we can’t see. For this reason, every GBT procedure begins with visualization of the plaque using a special dye.
Educating our patients on how to take better care of their teeth After we have visualized the plaque, we take intraoral photos and together with the patient we analyze in which areas there are larger accumulations, as well as the reasons for this. We give individual guidance to each patient on how to improve cleaning at home – what brush is suitable for him, floss or interdental brush to use, what brushing technique, etc. Proper oral hygiene at home is essential for maintaining healthy gums and teeth.
Getting Started with Aiflow Airflow is the gentlest and most comfortable method with which we can remove visualized plaque, as well as most stains on the teeth. We use an Airflow Prophylaxis Master (AFPM) machine that works with the finest cleaning powder possible. This makes the procedure absolutely painless and even pleasant for patients. For patients with deep periodontal pockets, we have PerioFlow technology, which provides cleaning in pockets up to 9mm.
We use PIEZON (ultrasound) with built-in NO PAIN technology After cleaning with AirFlow, only the mineralized deposits – tartar – remain on the teeth. Tartar cleaning is done with ultrasound. This is one of the things that patients don’t like. The AFPM device we use has a built-in NO PAIN module that reduces discomfort when using the ultrasound.
No unpleasant sound When working with ultrasound, we use special gentle tips. When working with them correctly, the characteristic noise of tartar cleaning is absent.
We limit the use of hand tools (curettes) The Airflow Prophylaxis Master device allows us, through Airflow, Perioflow and Piezon technologies, to achieve perfect cleaning even in the most difficult cases. This makes the use of different curettes unnecessary, and from there the unwanted effects of them are saved – no hyper-instrumentation, no hypersensitivity, no need for anesthesia, no pain.
We appoint the following procedures individually for each patient By individually assessing the level of inflammation of the gums and the amount of accumulated plaque, we determine when it is necessary to do the next cleaning. Our goal in subsequent visits is to control the plaque – ie. to have no tartar and no inflammation.
